Can you tell us about this fishing event?
As its name suggests the International Carp Fishing Exhibition is aimed at the consumer i.e it is aimed at the entire carp angling market with an objective of running a unified exhibition for carp fishing. To bring together, carp fishing companies and anglers from France, UK, Belgium, Germany, Holland, Luxembourg, Spain and a host of other countries.
In order to cater for the entire market it will be held at the internationally renowned Paris Le Bourget Exhibition Centre, which is generally thought of as the premier exhibition centre in Europe and host site for many World Class trade and consumer exhibitions. It’s the ideal venue as it is easily accessible from most European countries and ports and at the heart of Northern Europe which is central to the main fishing market!
Where will the carp show be staged?
The exhibition centre lies to the North of Paris away from the congestion and only 2 hours from Calais, it is literally 300 yards off the A 1 motorway, within easy reach and only a few hours drive from Belgium, Luxembourg, Holland and Germany! Strategically speaking, the venue and location cannot be surpassed.
What scale will the Paris event be?
It is aimed at all companies from fishing tackle to organizations, infact anyone involved in the sport from every country, to say the consumer market is large would be an understatement as is those of the surrounding countries.
The huge market is in need of a large exhibition based in the north, the carp fishing tackle market is in need of an International show, therefore why not capitalise upon both of those needs? Is their enough accommodation nearby to cater for exhibitors and visitors?
No other exhibition centre is able to offer such a wide range of hotel accommodation that more than fulfils exhibitors and visitors needs. Le Bourget benefits from a huge hotel capacity with more than 9,000 rooms within a 5 - 10 minute drive. We are currently in negation with a number of hotels to secure exclusive prices for exhibitors. Are their Restaurants/pubs and clubs at the centre and nearby?
There is food and alcoholic beverages sold within the exhibition centre and numerous restaurants pubs and clubs nearby.
For those looking for one of the best nights out in Europe after a hard day of exhibiting, try the famous Paris strip (only 15 minutes on the TVR ((underground)). For those not aware, it is a street of over one mile long consisting of only pubs, clubs, late night shops and adult entertainment; the famed Moulin Rouge is on this road.
What events do you plan to run over the weekend?
There will be numerous talks and slide shows from a carefully selected range of the top carpers from Europe and UK as well as raffles, demonstrations, freebies and of course the promotional personnel adorning some revealing fishing gear.
Various events and competitions will be held with some amazing carp fishing tackle prizes on offer from fishing holidays to rods, reels and bivvies and money. Multiple demonstrations will be taking place throughout the day by the leading companies and their sponsored big names.

Whats happening at the carp fishing show
Lets put the size of this fishing expo into perspective: the average UK show is 3500 square meters, the current main European events are smaller and many only ran every other year, which makes this at least 3 times the size of any other show!
